On Sunday 22nd May, we celebrated International Biodiversity Day to highlight its value and the need to preserve it. This year’s theme is “Building a shared future for all life”. This theme seeks to promote the idea that biodiversity is fundamental to live in a better world, given that the different ecosystems influence the climate and the health of all people.
This day, established in 2000 by the United Nations General Assembly, coincides with the celebration of the 1992 Convention on Biological Diversity, which aims to conserve biological diversity and promote sustainability.
Protecting and safeguarding natural wealth is the main task of human beings to lessen the effects of climate change. You can also collaborate in the conservation of the planet by sharing content on social networks, acting responsibly in natural areas and following a more sustainable diet.
