On 24th and 25th November, from 10am to 1pm, the FIT4FOOD 2030 Final Conference will be held online. The sessions aim to broaden our understanding and the importance of transforming food systems and help the different parties involved to be part of the change. The director of CEMAS, Vicente Domingo, will be one of the speakers of the segment “Urban food systems. A window full of opportunities beyond adequate nutrition”.
The event, organised by the European Commission, is an opportunity to learn more about approaches with which it is possible to address the transformation of food systems, and get tools and practical solutions to support solid research and innovation. In addition, in the session “Meet the Experts”, participants will establish contacts and interact with specialists in food systems, research and development.
The speakers include Dr. John Bell, Director of Healthy Planet and Director of Research and Innovation of the European Commission; Carola Fabi, Senior Statistician of the FAO; and Dr. Afton Halloran, an Independent Consultant in sustainable food systems transitions; among other top experts.
