This coming Wednesday 23 March, the Bamberg Foundation will hold the “Spain One Health Summit” event, which will address the Strategic Plan on Health and the Environment, prepared by the Ministry of Health as part of the Ministry’s Public Health Strategy. It will also address the social determinants that influence health, such as the demographic challenge conditioned by migration and nutrition.
The meeting, structured into five sessions, brings together public officials responsible for Spanish Health, both human and animal, together with those responsible for Agriculture and Livestock, Environment, and Energy from the State’s central institutions and the most relevant Autonomous Communities.
Among the more than 40 speakers invited to participate are the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas; the Coordinator of the National Plan against Antibiotic Resistance in Animal Health, Cristina Muñoz Madero; and the Director of CEMAS, Vicente Domingo.
