On 20th and 21st April, CEMAS will host the Forum of Struggles for Land and Natural Resources. The objective of these conferences is to exchange experiences and reflections in order to contribute to citizen mobilisation and the creation of alliances to reorient public policies and curb land and natural resource grabbing.
The topics to be addressed reflect the main problems faced by rural, fishing and forestry communities. For example, access to land for women and young people; landless people and the future of the commons; local land governance; agrarian reform and the regulation of transfers of natural resource rights.
