On Tuesday 17th, the Environmental Education Centre of the Valencian Community (CEACV) celebrated the fourth edition of the EAR Environmental Education Awards. On this occasion, the theme of the event was “Sustainable Food”, with the slogan “Healthy Eating for a Healthy Planet”.
The day began with a presentation followed by a round table discussion with the participation of Vicente Domingo, director of CEMAS. This was followed by an awards ceremony, and recognition was given to an educational centre, an association, an environmental education company, a public entity, an environmental education facility, an initiative to combat the climate emergency and, finally, to a natural park belonging to the National Parks Network.
This recognition is linked to the Environmental Education Guide (Guía de Educación Ambiental en Ruta), the strategic framework of reference and educational support for the construction of a model of society based on the principles of sustainability.
