The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has made available the Statistical Yearbook 2022, a wealth of essential information for policy making, which can be easily and quickly accessed by researchers, analysts and all those interested in food and agriculture.
The open-access publication comprises hundreds of pages of organised data on issues surrounding agricultural employment, agri-food trade and the use of fertilizers and pesticides worldwide, as well as environmental and climatic factors.
“FAO places great importance on data and statistics as a global public good that is central to our efforts to promote sustainable development”, said Mr. José Rosero Moncayo, Director of FAO’s Statistics Division.
