The Secondary School of Picanya Enric Valor unveiled the S3 Canteen project, which aims to improve the quality of food in the school canteen to achieve a healthier, sustainable and supportive offer. The inspiring initiative has the support of the public, private and community sectors.
After a year of work, last Friday, 3 March, the institute located in València and the Citizenship and Communication Association (ACICOM) organised an open day to share their experience with the project and to appeal to all the people and organisations that work every day to improve food systems.
This valuable proposal in which administrations such as the Consellería de Sanidad Universal y Salud Pública and CEMAS have been involved, aims to improve the student diet from a nutritional point of view, while boosting local commerce and contributing to reduce food waste.
