On 7th and 8th May, in the city of València, the European Green Party held the conference “Resilient Municipalities and Regions”, where 150 public officials analysed the role of institutional policy to address the multiple challenges of the present from a sustainable perspective.
The meeting was an opportunity to discuss and share ideas on how to build green municipalities and regions that can face the future, and, above all, to evaluate how to do it in a context of climate emergency, so that cities are not only resilient, but also more friendly and humane spaces for citizens.
The Mayor of València, Joan Ribó, was the first to sign the Manifesto “Building Resilient Green Municipalities and Regions of the Future”, a milestone that marked the end of the conference.
