Fundación Alternativas and Fundación Carasso have published the “Libro Blanco de la Alimentación Sostenible en España: enfoque global y medidas concretas” (White Paper on Sustainable Food in Spain: global approach and specific measures). The study develops measures to be taken into account in the transition towards sustainable and resilient food systems.
Throughout its thirteen chapters, it develops the importance of the role of citizens as active agents, as well as the facilitating political framework, economic incentives, a resilient value chain and a production in harmony with nature.
The roadmap is the result of the participation of over fifty researchers and professionals from the third sector and is intended as a starting point to jointly build a sustainable diet that is beneficial for people, animals and the planet.
