Last week the Valencian Association of Consumers and Users (AVACU) held the conference “Food, sustainability and something more”. The aim of the meeting was to discuss food prices, the sustainability of our food systems and a projection of where consumption should be heading in the future.
The Valencian Association of Consumers and Users is a non-profit association at the service of consumers which, since 1978, has been dedicated to carrying out training, information and defence activities for the rights of consumers.
The event held at the Ilustre Colegio de Oficial de Médicos was attended by Vicente Domingo, director of CEMAS; Fernando Moner, president of AVACU Mercedes Hurtado, president of ICOMV; and Manuel Martí, secretary general of UNAE and representative of MPAC, among others.
