This week is very special for CEMAS, because from 24-26 July 2023 our team will be present at the United Nations Food Systems Summit +2 (Stocktaking Moment of the Summit two years later UNFSS+2) taking place in Rome, Italy, at the premises of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
This important meeting builds on the momentum of the 2021 Food Systems Summit and creates an enabling space for countries to review their progress on action commitments and identify successes, persistent bottlenecks and priorities. It is also an opportunity to give even more visibility to the powerful role of sustainable, equitable, healthy and resilient food systems as critical accelerators of the SDGs and to advocate for urgent, large-scale action that leaves no one behind.
