The International Center of Rural and Agriculture Studies (CERAI) and the Network of Municipal Nursery Schools of Madrid launched the recipe book “The world on your plate”, an initiative that contributes to a balanced, healthy and sustainable diet.
The book is the result of a whole school year spent working on sustainable and healthy eating based on the Mediterranean diet and includes dishes of diverse origins that highlight the gastronomic richness of other cultures.
Each recipe aims to produce a balanced dish and uses seasonal, organic and local products. It is a new tool to invite more people to incorporate sustainable habits and follow a diet in harmony with the planet.
